Means of expressing verb types in Azerbaijani languages

This article discusses the types of verb meanings. The types of meanings of a verb are determined by the relationship between the subject and the object when performing work and action.
In Azerbaijani linguistics, numerous studies have been carried out on various categories of language. Researchers have closely related verb meaning types to verb control types and combined these categories. Verb control types are closely related to semantic types. However, it is wrong to equate them.
Until now, in existing textbooks, textbooks and monographs, the types of verbs are not systematically and clearly given. Kinds of verbs sometimes denote groups of lexical meanings (for example: action, speech, etc.), and sometimes types of grammatical meanings (for example: known, unknown, return, etc.). Sometimes active and invalid verbs are mentioned under the name of verb types. In fact, there are more specific types called verb types. From this point of view, types of verbs can be grouped as follows: types of lexical meaning of verbs, types of grammatical meaning of verbs, basic meanings of types of verbs (active and inactive verbs).
Based on this division, teaching verb types in middle and high schools can give more effective results. In Azerbaijani linguistics there are some comments about the division of verb types into the above-mentioned groups [Sadigov: 2002, p. 99-103].
