The syntactic method occupies an important place among the methods of word creation. In particular, the rapid entry of science and technology into our lives necessitates the creation of new words through the combination of words in the language. Syntactic word creation has been active at all stages of the modern English language. Currently, the syntactic method is considered one of the most productive methods of word formation in the British and American variants of the English language. Compound words act as a bridge between morphology and syntax in a language. In English, compound words are written both contiguous, hyphenated, and separated. Compound words written separately are words that are in the transition stage from a compound word to a compound word. As a result of research, we see that in terms of functionality, simple words and complex words are at the same level.
