Borrowings in scientific style during the years of independence

Abstract

In the article, the acquisitions used in the scientific style during the years of independence were investigated. Field concepts in scientific works form a certain system, and the elements of the system interact with each other. In addition to the creation of new terms due to the internal capabilities of the language in the scientific style, term borrowings are also characterized by their functionality. The rapid development of scientific knowledge leads to stabilization in the system of new concepts and the establishment or acceptance of relevant terms. Currently, these terms enter the Azerbaijani language directly from European languages. If at the beginning of the century terms entered our language through the Russian language, now these concepts are taken directly from European languages, especially English. These borrowings, used in various fields of science, sometimes fully preserve their originality, and sometimes they are used without changes. In modern times, the development of the technical fields of technology in the West also affects the sources of the origin of terms. Because new concept names, tools and terms denoting various processes are taken from other languages ​​and over time become definitive and form the terminological base of the field.
