Abstract

Publicism is a type of journalism that covers public spheres of life, politics, culture, economics, etc. Discourse in this case is communication that takes place within the framework of journalism, using a certain language and style. Gender differences can be represented in publicistic discourse in various ways - for example, through the choice of topics, discussion of social problems, analyses of political processes, etc. Gender stereotypes can also be present in the language and style of publications. In general, Azerbaijani society has traditional notions of male and female roles, and this is reflected in media and public discourse.
