Tofiq Hajiyev and the history of literary languagekey terms

Abstract

In the article, Tofig Hajiyev's views on the main terms of the history of literary language were analyzed. It is noted that the study of the literary language of Azerbaijan and the investigation of the current problems of Turkology constitute the main line of the scientist's creativity. In particular, the history of Azerbaijani literary language is one of the leading branches of his scientific creativity. Different features of these norms, characteristic signs that distinguish them are determined. The objective functioning of the facts and laws reflected in the macronorm, and the subjective intervention in the micronorm, are considered to be the main factors. In the literary language, the formation of the norm based on the facts of the vernacular language, the cases of the emergence of a certain norm, i.e., the stabilization of the micronorm within the macro, are determined/
