Verbalization of the concept "Karabagh" In the Azerbaijan language

Abstract

The thesis considers the concept of "Qarabağ" and the means of its verbal implementation. The chosen topic is a problem of cognitive linguistics, the problem of language and thinking, language and culture. The concept of "Qarabağ" is one of the most significant concepts in the information space of Azerbaijan. The lack of works devoted to the analysis of this concept makes the work necessary in this aspect. In the thesis, the cognitive features, more precise and figurative features of concept of ―Qarabağ‖ are explained. The verb of the concept of "Qarabağ " is performed by lexeme, metaphorical nominations, comparison and syntactic method.
