In the article, music is interpreted as an art form that reflects reality. The author notes that musical works have the intellectual influence and have also the ability to develop and improvelogical thinking. It is noted that the content of the music expands the spiritual and intellectual capabilities of the listener and develops his mental capacity. Musical texts, which are a coding system, arise from the need to convey information, are realized syntagmatically and form a melody, and become actualized utterances that serve to convey information to the addressee. Cognitive abilities of the listener in the perception of music: auditory-expressive imagination, ability to perceive rhythmic structures, analytical musical competence, ability to decode information, etc. function together.
