A look at the processes of conceptualization and categorization

Abstract

Since the end of the 20th century, research in the field of cognitive science has been in the foreground in a new direction in European linguistics. In Azerbaijani science, cognitive linguistics is considered one of the young fields, especially in recent years special attention has been paid to this field of linguistics. In the article, scientific ideas in linguistics related to the concept concept were investigated. The processes of conceptualization and categorization, which are the main concepts of cognitive linguistics, which occur as a result of the understanding of concepts in the human mind, have been analyzed.
