Summary
The lexical system of the language reflects the thought, lifestyle, and language landscape of the speakers of the language. Due to the semantic closeness of the words that express people's
occupation, struggle, love, hate, etc., the group created in people's minds forms a system, which is called the lexical-semantic system. This system has not only a linguistic essence, but also a sociological, historical and cultural essence. Because in all epics, people's unique psychology, philosophy, occupation, as well as the history they live in, finds its expression in their language and lexicon. In this sense, the explanation of the lexical-semantic system of any speaker goes beyond the limits of linguistics and gains a wider scope. If it is possible to say, the lexical-semantic system of the language is the linguistic system of categorical knowledge in the mind.
The article examines the lexical-semantic system of four great epics.
