As we know, the field of functional-semantic conditionality in world linguistics is based on subordinate complex sentences with conditional branch clauses. In general, the concept of conditionality is a very broad concept. It covers many language facts in terms of number. Although the conditional meaning in the Azerbaijani language is determined primarily by the conditional form of the verb, it is also known in linguistics that verbs used in this form cannot be used separately. Thus, not directly, but indirectly, as one of the means of expressing conditionality, subordinate complex sentences with conditional branch clauses appear.
When determining the type of subordinate complex sentence in the Azerbaijani language, the branch sentence is distinguished based on how it explains the main sentence. Sometimes we can see that sentences with the same means of formation differ in meaning. This shows that structure and meaning are evaluated together in the Azerbaijani language. Conditional branch sentences in Azerbaijani language are marked as one of the adverbial branch types. Subordinate complex sentences with conditional branch clauses from the language of the ancient written monuments belonging to the Turkic languages until today indicate the wide range of its use. Most of the studies on these sentences included their analysis and comparison in different directions.
