The article considers semiotics as a field of linguistics. It is impossible to approach the known semantic boundaries of semiotics without understanding the "sign", which is the main subject of semiotics. As a science of signs, semiotics explores how people create signs, build systems using signs and communicate through them. A sign is any object, entity, or event that indicates something outside of itself, usually because it can signify something else. We will try to clarify these issues in the article.
