Principal peculiarities of term acquisition

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of term acquisition in language relations.In the article,
broad theoretical ideas are interpreted and the attitude to the opinions of scientists is reported.Some
borrowings are used in the same way as in the target language.This is how L.P. Krysin explains and
shows several sections of the transfer and acquisition of words into the target language.In the
article, borrowings are mentioned as the main means in interlinguistic communications.Here it is
noted that the term and word transfer from language to language goes through a cognitive
process.The article mentions the transfer of terms from English to Azerbaijani in different ways.
Sometimes english terms are only transliterated. The article provides a large number of examples to
clarify the theoretical ideas. From the given examples, it becomes clear that borrowed terms are
subjected to grammatical, phonetic, lexical changes when passing from English to Azerbaijani.
Thus, language relations play a special role in term acquisition and facilitate term acquisition.
