Terminology in the field of nuclear energy in the Azerbaijani language based on English

Abstract

Terminological meanings in the nuclear technology industry are annually enriched with new words and phrases. The basis and official source is the IAEA glossary, where one of the official languages is English, on the basis of which new meanings and concepts are accepted into the vocabulary. Therefore, the work presented in the results of a study of the mechanisms of term formation in the field of nuclear energy based on the material of English language. An analysis of the classifications of term formations was carried out, six main mechanisms were derived, such as semantic, morphological, syntactic, loanwords, the formation of neologisms and the creation of abbreviations, according to which new terms and concepts are formed in the field of nuclear technology and energy.
