Abstract

The article discusses the principles of systematizing riddles and highlights their scientific and practical significance. It is emphasized that systematization should be carried out in accordance with the nature of each genre. The clas­sification of riddles must also be conducted in a way that reflects the specific characteristics of the riddle genre. Classifying riddles by thematic categories not only provides a clearer picture of their overall structure but also facilitates their use for research purposes. The example provided from the catalog clearly de­monstrates this point.
