NOVRUZ CEREMONIES AS THE MAIN FACTOR OF NATIONAL-CULTURAL VALUES IN SHUSHA FOLKLORE

Abstract

Novruz ceremonies have a very perfect system. These ceremonies and the festive procedures are so multifaceted that they can be involved in the research from the most diverse aspects. It is also very important to study the holding of Novruz ceremonies in Shusha folklore from scientific, socio-public, as well as ideological and strategic points of view. It is natural that the study of texts related to Shusha is marked by the content of national and cultural values in all contexts. Because Shusha is a fortress-city in the status of the capital of Karabakh. It should also be noted that the Novruz ceremonies held in Azerbaijan are intertwined with the national image of the Shusha fortress in terms of their national content. Therefore, Novruz ceremonies emerge as a factor of national-cultural values ​​in Shusha folklore. Naturally, studying this theme, the special value and richness of our folklore also plays a key role. At the same time, investigating Novruz ceremonies in Shusha folklore, there is a need to approach these texts at both the local and regional levels. It means, folklore samples originating in both Karabakh and Shusha are included in the research. Naturally, it becomes from the broad structure of the ceremonies that make up the complex. Nevertheless, the main focus is clearly on the Novruz ceremonies and Novruz holiday in Shusha. Using sources related to Shusha in the research work, the Novruz ceremonies held in Shusha and continuing today and the issues of national identity are clarified. It should also be noted that Novruz holiday is mainly studied in Shusha folklore in three directions. Firstly, Novruz holiday held in Shusha is studied in folklore genres, and secondly, in various scientific-literary and historical-journalistic sources and ceremonial folklore. However, since our subject is Shusha folklore, two other aspects are presented, which are mainly investigated in the research work in national-cultural content on the basis of specific examples through the prism of folklore. We hope that many innovations of this research work will attract the attention of the scientific community.
