The issue of gender equality in Huseyn Javid's creativity

Abstract

The article is devoted to the investigation of the gender problem based on Huseyn Javid's creativity. In his works, Huseyin Javid expressed the ideas of gender inequality, such as the secondary status of women's rights, feelings, emotions, ideas and thoughts in the family and society, as well as the socio-psychological picture of the society of his period. In addition to showing gender problems in his works, poet-playwright Huseyn Javid also tried to show the ways of solving them. The features of women's characters in H. Javid’ works encouraged the wider spread of topics such as women and the role of women in society in the literature of Azerbaijan.
