The repetition-device of poetry in Hussein Javid’s lyrics

Abstract

The repetition is one of the most important poetical devices that gives the special harmony to Hussein Javid's lyrics. The poet uses the repetition of words, phrases and sentences in the same or consecutive verses within the units of poetry by using it differently. As a result, he achieves a more effective presentation of the idea. The different types of repetition, he applied for, makes Javid's poems more memorable.
