Lyrism in Huseyn Javid’s drama works

Abstract

H.Javid, who began his literary activity with poetry, in a short time gained fame as a talented poet. His poetic mastery was greatly caused by his creation of poetic dramas. Historical and romantic tragedies by the writer are considered to be the first perfect works in the genre of poetic drama in the history of our literature.
It should be noted that the songs and marches included by Hussein Javid as a lyrical element in his dramatic works are completely new poetic forms in the history of Azerbaijani poetry.
Hussein Javid’s dramas are rich in lyrical elements. Such means consisting of verses, which reduce the drama in the stage works, do not let the audience get tired, significantly enhance the artistic influence, meaning and ideas of the work, are also considered valuable pearls in the lyrics of Hussein Javid. Most of these poems are independent poetic samples. Therefore, the study of lyrical elements is not limited to revealing the original features of the writer’s dramaturgy. At the same time, these features expand the possibilities of a comprehensive study of poetic forms and their features of Javid’s lyrics. Poems created in various genres in his dramas can be included in the collected works of Hussein Javid as specific poetic samples.
