Avant-gardeism in literature

Abstract

The political movement of the 20th century led to the emergence of modern-avant-garde trends that replaced one another in the art world. The confrontation between the destroyed, chaotic world, national-conservative values and cosmopolitan thinking were the factors that determined the emergence of new creative trends and alternative art. In the article, the period when the avant-garde trend was born, its characteristic features, and its manifestations in world literature as well as in national literature were studied.
