Abstract

Profile media examples that allow us to follow the dynamics of the development of literature in Azerbaijan appeared mainly from the beginning of the 20th century. Some literary and artistic examples were published and the translations from Eastern and Western literature were made by some press agencies from the end of the 19th century and this had a serious impact on the development of educational literature. The creators of the magazines “Molla Nasraddin” and “Fuyuzat” published at the beginning of the 20th century presented their publicistic articles, examples of artistic creativity and translation activities in these publications and with that they formed the idea of creating a magazine that would cover the development of literature more continuously in the future. It should not be forgotten that the main factor determining this idea is the socio-political-cultural environment. The history and development stages of the “Azerbaijan” magazine are followed among the examples that reveal the level of value of the literary and artistic heritage. The place in the current literary process, functionality and creative aspects of the magazine is studied. Main criteria of literary policy is analyzed in a different system of social relations, in the conditions of name and language changes that are subject to ideological stamp pressure, and the main factors of this policy are summarized by comparison method. Since journal texts are not a system, in the journal is referred to different methodological, scientific-theoretical foundations. Review of the journal as an ethno-cultural value system necessitates appeal to certain principles of general systems theory.
