It highlights that special works on rhetoric could be written. Beginning with literature lessons in the early 20th century, efforts were made to systematize specific rules, theoretical classifications, and analytical methods by combining a new type of theory with East-West norms. In this context, Husein Javid’s contributions are particularly noted. The development of the higher education system in Nakhchivan, the activities of the Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, and other scientific advancements paved the way for the growth of literary theory and shaped its various directions. The Isa Habibbayli School was established here, and a new generation of scholars emerged as his successors. Professor Husein Hashimli emerged as a prominent theorist among this new generation. There is no provincialism or remoteness in the literary theory of Nakhchivan. Several fundamental investigations have been conducted, and incentives for new research have been provided.
