Poetic reflection of protest against communist ideology in Amin Abid Gultakin’s poetry

Abstract

As M.A.Rasulzada said the concept of nationality by Amin Abid means "a common will created in a community". Gultakin sees the ability of existing in humanity in self-affirmation as a nation. The idea of national independence, which is clearly reflected in his poetry, and the ideal of Turkism and Turanism glorified by him, becomes a herald of national and moral values. In his poems, along with the spirit of national struggle revealed on the historical ground, at the level of global events, at the same time, there is a strong protest against local traitors, the destruction of his compatriots, whose hearts beat with love for the country, by betrayers. In his poems such as “Icy hell”, “My flag and independence”, “To the youth of Azerbaijan”, “Bolshevik”, “To the Azerbaijani communist”, etc. he expresses his sensitive and rebellious attitude towards the treason to the homeland and its captivity. As a representative of independence poetry, Gultakin was influenced by A.Huseynzade, A.Javad, A.Muznib, as well as young Turks and representatives of legion literature were influenced by his poetic examples. The article analyzes the refusal attitude of the poet against the occupation in some of his poems.
