“Verses of love” by Habiburrahman Al-Shirazi about the idea and artistic features of the novel

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the novel "Verses of Love" by Indonesian writer Habiburrahman al-Shirazi, which combines humanism and romanticism, is merger of different cultures. On the background of the events that befell the young Indonesian, the author tried to show the universal, global problems and their solutions. The novel promotes the basics of Islam, its beauty, patience and self-sacrifice. Al-Shirazi also mentioned character, environment, national and spiritual values as the main factors that shape a person along with religion. Written in a simple, fluent language, the novel has been loved by readers and translated into various languages.
