Satire of the Mollanasreddinists in the system of theoretical views

Abstract

This article determines the genre of satire in the general Turkic context, its place in the area of the East and the subject of the article is a new aspect of development in the magazine “Molla Nasreddin”. The phenomenon of satire has existed since ancient times in the centuries-old Azerbaijani literature and national folklore, and has received a new status in written literature and satirical press in the 20th century, successfully fulfilling the mission of the bearer of the function of ensuring realism. The article presents thoughts and judgments about satire by Aziz Mirahmedov, Mir Jalal Pashayev, Mikayil Rafili, Jafar Khandan, Abbas Zamanov, Panah Khalilov, Yashar Garayev, Kamran Mammadov, Tahsin Mutallimov, Aydin Abiyev, Abulfaz Ibad oglu, Yadulla Agazade and other prominent Azerbaijani literary scholars and interesting conclusions are put forward.
For a long time, researchers divided satire into different literary types and genres, prevented it being studied as a concept and category of literary theory. In the article it is paid attention to the mentioned issues, mentioned various thoughts about the satire of such world thinkers as Aristotle, as well as in the valuable studies of Y.Borev, Y.Elsberg, M.E.Saltykov-Shchedrin A.V.Luncharshky, G.N.Pospelova, L.I.Timofeyev, the focus is on the establishment, formation and development prospects of this genre, its peculiar features are highlighted.
