Abstract

In this article, issues of genre and style in poetic examples written on the theme of patriotism during the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic are the object of scientific-theoretical analysis. The issue discussed in the context of the poetry of Mohammad Hadi, Ahmad Javad, Abdulla Shaig, Amin Abid (Gultekin), Aliyusif, Abbas agha Nazir, and other poets is clarified here. The study also highlights the fact that throughout the Republic, the process of integrating and complementing literature and politics was more visible in poetry. It was emphasized that, in addition to being based on the classical tradition, the poetry of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic is active in improving attention to ties and interaction with the modern world. A variety of major sources relevant to the issue are referred to in the context of the scientific interpretation of the studied problem.
