The origination of drama

Abstract

In the article is studied the historical issues of the genre of drama. The research is based on solving the question of why the drama genre emerged in ancient Greece. In the interest of answer this question, in the article it is referred to the historical period – ancient Greek history in which the drama genre was originated. The connection between the origin of the drama genre in Ancient Greece and the historical conditions and circumstances of this place is studied. It is justified that the drama cannot exist everywhere and always unlike other genres. Its existence is possible under certain conditions. Because unlike poetry and prose, drama is a way of thinking that is related not only to the development of the individual, but also to thought of society. In the research it is justified since such development of thinking took place in the ancient Greek environment, drama as a genre was originated passed the path of development.
