Abstract

The powerful poet Nevizade Atayi, known as one of the last “Khamsa” writers of Turkish Divan literature, was born in Istanbul at the end of the 17th century. The article is dedicated to the work “Haft Khan” by Nevizade Atayi, the famous Turkish successor of Azerbaijan's genius poet Nizami Ganjavi. Thus, the poet, who lived and wrote within the borders of the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century, made a dedication to Nizami and her fourth poem, “Heft Peyker”, expressing his personal opinion. “Haft Khan” has some similarities and differences with the work of the master poet mentioned above. A number of nuances related to Masnavi have been shown and interpreted.
