Abstract

The article talks about the joint participation of the Turkic peoples participated in the scientific and cultural development of the Turkish world. The movement of national awakening, which began at the end of the 19th century and continued until the beginning of the 20th century, the theoretical foundations for building an independent statehood, as well as the issues of national ideas and ideology, spiritual values ​​related to it, were clearly reflected in the history of thought of the Turkic-speaking peoples. Beginning in the second half of the 19th century and the end of the 20th century, the newspapers “Ekinchi”, “Shargi-Rus”, “Kaspiy”, “Ziyayi-Kafkazia”, “Tarjuman” and others, and in the magazines “Molla Nasreddin”, “Turk Yurdu” and others were covered questions on the history, language, traditions, culture, thought of the Turkic peoples. The article states that the development of a common alphabet and a single language among the Turkic peoples is a topical issue both at the beginning of the 20th century and in the 21st century. Azerbaijan occupies a unique place in the Turkic world, the Azerbaijani people have made a huge contribution to the development of the culture of the Turkic-speaking peoples. In modern times, the issue of unity among the Turkic peoples is of great importance.
