ARTISTIC IMAGES OF POETS AND WRITERS IN THE WORKS OF ISLAM SAFARLI

Abstract

The gallery of images in the poetry of Islam Safarli is diverse. The artistic language presents the thoughts and feelings of the poet about the classics and contemporaries. In his work, Islam Safarli was able to create images of such intellectuals as Imadaddin Nasimi, Mahammad Fuzuli, Ashiq Alaskar, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, Jafar Jabbarly, Mir Mehdi Seyidzade, Suleyman Rahimov, Sabit Rahman, Samad Vurgun, Mikayil Mushfig, Mohammad-Hossein Shahriar and others.

In Islam Safarli's song “Nasimi”, dedicated to Imadaddin Nasimi, a vivid image of a Sufi poet is created, and in his poem “Poet of the Heart”, dedicated to Mahammad Fuzuli, a powerful image of the master of words of Azerbaijan, Mahammad Fuzulu, is created. The magnificent image of Mirza Jalil Mammadguluzadeh is presented by Islam Safarli in his poem “Glory of the East”, dedicated to the great writer. The position and activities of Mirza Alakbar Sabir in poetry are presented in the poem “My Sabir”. Islam Safarli's poem “1906-1956” praises Samad Vurgun. In the poem “The Song of Longing”, dedicated to Mikayil Mushfig, the poet presents to the readers the turbulent path of his colleague in artistic language. Jafar Jabbarly is highly valued in Islam Safarli's poem “My Jafar”.

Islam Safarli's high appreciation of outstanding poets, writers and playwrights of Azerbaijani literature reflects the writer's great respect for outstanding artists.
