Aesthetics of miniature style in the ceramic art of Azerbaijan in the independence period

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the role and place of the aesthetics of miniature style in the decorative and applied art of Azerbaijan, which still remains a source of inspiration and a means of expression for contemporary artists. It is noted that the miniature style, widely used since the Middle Ages, was widely embodied in the ceramic works of Azerbaijani artists of the period of Independence.

It is noted that in the artistic solution of ceramic products, distinguished by a variety of themes, created by Adalat Bayramov, Rasim Huseynov, Nagi Nagiyev, Sadykh Sadykhov, Nailya Sultanova, there was a process of increasing interest in spiritual and historical values, where shades of lyricism and romanticism, embodied in aesthetics of miniature style.
