On the comparative vocal analysis of the Rosina's cavatina and the application of the Belcanto method in Shovkat Mammadova’s performance

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to determine the role of the “Belcanto” performance method in the formation of the Azerbaijani singer. The analysis of the work presented as an example proves Sh.Mammadova’s mastery of this method and her individual approach. Comparisons with well-known European singers show that the artist has really mastered the European style of singing deeply and worked hard to pass it on to future generations.
