Abstract

The article is the first to comment on the commonality of religious musical-poetic genres reflecting the content of “Ahli-bayt” in the traditional musical culture of Turkic-speaking peoples, and the compatibility of traditions in terms of music and history. Here, the scientific novelty of the work is determined by the fact that the musical-poetic genres with the content of “Ahli-bayt” stand in the middle between the religious and folk creativity of Turkic-speaking peoples (mainly Turks and Azerbaijanis), which constitute an integral part of the Muslim world. The manifestation of the “Ahli-bayt” song tradition in the musical culture of Turkic-speaking peoples with the same roots but belonging to different geographical and cultural environments allows us to reveal both their common, universal and different, local characteristics. Thus, the research conducted using the comparative analysis method in accordance with the methodological foundations of musical Turkology, which is a priority direction in Azerbaijani musicology, helps to show important aspects in studying the problem.
The article examines the specific nature of the activities of lament, hymn, nat, mavlud and other religious musical-poetic genres in the religious musical culture of Turkic-speaking peoples in a comparative aspect. It is determined that the meaning of "Ahli - beyt", which expresses a single idea and sign in religious musicalpoetic genres - that is, the artistic expression of the praise and sorrow of the Prophet Muhammad and his family members - has different and compatible features in different cultural environments. Thus, despite the fact that the poetic content of musical-poetic genres in the culture of Turkic-speaking peoples with a single origin has compatible features, the main scientific result of the work is the discovery of differences in their musical means of expression. The indication of the ladintonation basis (makam and angemiton) as the main factor in revealing the regional specificity of musical-poetic genres is of particular importance. It is precisely the lad basis, as an important indicator of regional diversity and specificity, indicates the close connection with the musical tradition of the local environment.
The comparative study of musical and poetic genres with "Ahli-bayt" content in the religious and cultural tradition of Turkic-speaking peoples has practical significance, allowing for a deep understanding of the cultural ties of these related peoples and for conducting more extensive research in this aspect.
