Abstract

Muhammad Fizuli, known for his lyric poems in Turkish literature, also created the most beautiful examples of artistic prose. The letters he wrote to sultans and state officials also occupy a special place in the poet's artistic prose. Fizuli's letters express concern for the welfare of the working class and reflect the poet's moral and didactic views on life and human destiny. Unlike the work “Shikayatname”, Fizuli's letter to Ahmad bey is characterized by an optimistic spirit, a good outlook, and spiritual and moral calm. In his letter to Ahmad bey, the mirliva of Mosul, the poet, who was affected by the internal processes, calls on the rulers
and state officials to justice and to lead a simple and modest lifestyle. The poet, who was familiar with the oral folklore of his people, not only described his philosophical-didactic thoughts in a way that was related to real facts, but also left the world of unique epithets and rich metaphors at the disposal of the masses. In his letter to Fuzuli Ahmad bey, while describing the inner world and spiritual-emotional state of a person, the inner connection between a state official and a master poet, he took advantage of the richness of the Azerbaijani literary language and demonstrated a poetic language distinguished by its unique features.
