Karabakh, glorified by Azerbaijani artists

Abstract

Shusha became famous for its mugam school, poetry and painting, and carpet weaving. Its unique land, the symbols of Karabakh - Karabakh horses, famous people were and are painted by many artists of Azerbaijan of different generations, among whom I would like to especially highlight Togrul Narimanbekov, Sattar Bahludzade, Sakit Mamedov, Gorkhmaz Sujeddinov, Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya, Nadir Abdurakhmanov, Sabir Chopuroghlu, Elturan Avalov, Emil Aziz, Asif Azerelli, Vugar Ali. Each of these
artists sought to show their vision and attitude in their own style. Now that Shusha is the cultural center of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, many countries know it and it has become even more interesting for historians, art critics and painters.
