Abstract

First of all, today the material and technical base of theaters in our country has been strengthened in accordance with modern world standards, the creative searches of the collective have continued in a new direction, preparing new interesting performances, and internship programs with prestigious Western, including European theaters have been expanded. Undoubtedly, the services of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, who has always won the endless sympathy of those working in this field as a great patron of culture and art during all periods of his leadership in our country, are unparalleled. Today, this glorious endeavor is successfully continued by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This support covers not only the theaters created in Baku and the regions, but also the theaters that were transferred to Baku from those territories after the occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan by the hated Armenians in the 90s. It should be noted that in those years, 1 refugee and 3 internally displaced persons theaters began operating in the capital. The further fate of the Yerevan, Shusha, Agdam and Fuzuli State Drama Theaters was thus tied to Baku. Although the change of addresses several times over many years made the activities of the theaters difficult, they felt the need to continue on this path and constantly worked on themselves and continued their struggle. The article discusses one of these theaters, the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater, which was the first theater created in Yerevan in the Azerbaijani language. It should be noted that after being deported from Armenia, the theater's collective continued its activities as a theaterstudio under the Academic National Drama Theater in Baku and was housed in the Absheron Palace of Culture. Since 1995, the theater has been given state status again. It is now housed in the Palace of Culture named after H. Sarabski.
