Patriotic war in the content of Azerbaijani poetry

Abstract

In the presented article it is highlighted the main directions of the unity and the solidarity of the entire Azerbaijani people with the Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev during 44-day war. Expressing their attitude to this sacred fight against the Armenian fascists, the Azerbaijani poets in their poems put at the forefront the strategy, tactics and political foresight of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who throughout the entire period of the war was together with the people, officers and soldiers fighting against the Armenian invaders. In the presented article, there are fragments from verses by the Azerbaijani masters of the poetic word.
