The article also analyzes the reasons that led Golpinarli to explore the topic of Sufism, confirms that his
works on this subject provide an excellent foundation among researchers of Turkish literature, and arrives at
certain conclusions about his potential as a researcher. Based on Golpinarli’s research, it has been
determined that although Sufism and Irfan are a complete and unified doctrine within a certain framework,
they are not the same thing. There are certain differences between them. Sufism is the practical aspect of the
doctrine, while Irfan is its theoretical side. Just as every science has both practical and theoretical aspects, in
Sufism, Sufism is related to practical activity, while Irfan is related to thought and theoretical propositions.
