Abstract

Towards the end of the 20th century – the end of the 80s and the 90s, against the background of
social and political events that took place in our country, that is, the collapse of the huge empire called the
USSR, the struggle for independence, the January massacre, the Karabakh war, the life of turmoil and
migration and etc. issues opened opportunities for the wide development of publicism. Portrait essays,
articles and essays were read and accepted by the people with interest. Because social and political events
were widely analyzed in these writings in one way or another. That's why all writers attached special
importance to publicist articles along with poetry.
In this period, Nurangiz Gun’s creative work, along with his poems, also has a certain place in his artistic
publicism. The writer wrote down what he saw, observed, and thought in life and published it in the press. In
this sense, his “Memory”, “What a “beautiful” bloody flight from Turk to another Turk...”, “Then
