Abstract

The article talks about the landscapes of the famous artist Ali Ismail, which reflect the nature of Western Azerbaijan. The author notes that the reflection of the panoramas of this region is widely substituted in the artist's work. The first landscapes that he created date back to the 80s of the last century. Since then, the artist has created many wonderful paintings, singing the beauty of his native land. Realistic handwriting is characteristic of most of the artist's paintings. At the same time, he often creates lyrical landscapes, reflecting the picturesque corners of Western Azerbaijan.

An interesting feature of the artist's work is the genre synthesis, which gives the paintings a pronounced national flavor. Combining the motifs of landscape and still life, the artist skillfully and uniquely reflects the national character, identity, characteristic of the life and way of life of Azerbaijanis. In the works of Ali Ismail, one can often see symbolic objects that embody the national culture. Such, in particular, are carpets, some items of national life, gifts of the generous land - pomegranates, quince.

The artist still paints pictures, which depict the views of the nature of Western Azerbaijan. Such are the landscapes “Western Azerbaijan”, “Western Azerbaijan. Song of the Motherland”, “Gojadag” and others created in recent years.
