Abstract

A concept is a cognitive level unit, so it includes everything about the nature of understanding and meaning. But the concept is also a fact of culture, and consequently it also includes those who make it so: the original form – etymology, axiological evaluation, associations, abstraction, mental isoglosses.

Conceptualization is the process of acquiring, cognitive processing and organization of information in the form of conceptual structures implemented by a person in the process of communicating or understanding the world. Such a broad understanding of conceptualization goes back to the works of R.Lineker, where conceptualization is defined as the process of cognitive processing of information related to the formation of meanings.

The article deals with the conceptualization and categorization of the world in language. Various scientific sources were used in the preparation of the article.
