The theme of Karabakh in Vugar Ahmad’s creativity

Abstract

Professor Vugar Ahmad is one of the specialists who attentively investigated and
published the history and literature of South Azerbaijan and literary creativities of prominent
personalities of the South.
Vugar Ahmad’s creativity is very rich. He is known not only for his publicistic creativity, but also
for his stories, essays, literary critical articles and monographic researches in literary and scientific
fields.
Homeland, patriotism and national identity are the main themes in Vugar Ahmad’s creativity. He
glorifies the holiness of the homeland, country’s lands and native language in his publicistic
writings by a high level, figurative and artistic language. The Karabakh problem always makes him
think and in a number of his works, he expresses interesting opinions on this problem.
The whole world knows about the longing for Karabakh, Karabakh sorrow and the need for
Karabakh of Azerbaijani people. The reflection of longing, pain and need in one form or another
occupies a special place in Vugar Ahmad’s creativity.
