Word-building suffixes written in two and three forms in the Azerbaijani language

Abstract

There are different ways of word creation in Azerbaijani language. Connection of consonants to the beginning and end of the vowels, repetition and displacement of syllables, combination of simple words, to increase word alignment to word roots and so on are more commonly used in word creation.

There are a lot of word-building suffixes in the Azerbaijani language. On the basis of the word creation are standing word-building suffix joining of the word roots. Because the words formed in this way constitute the majority in the lexical fund of the Azerbaijani language.

In this article it is shown that daq, dək, dıq, dik, duq, dük, taq, tək, tıq, tik, tuq, tük word-building suffixes have been created by adding q and k consonant voice to the end of da, də, dı, di, du, dü, ta, tə, tı, ti, tu, tü suffix and numerous examples are given belonging to word creativity with their presence, and it is proved that those suffixes were written in six forms.
