A look at the creativity of Anvar Mammadkhanly

Abstract

The article is dedicated to Anvar Mammadkhanli’s creative activity. The artistic heritage
of the writer was examined in various genres, valuable opinions about him were given. The lyrical
spirit, the southern theme in his works is highlighted separately. Parallels with the works of other
writers were made, similar and different aspects were noted. Film activities and translations have
not been forgotten.
Anvar Mammadkhanli is one of our writers who has a unique place and style in our literature. He is
one of the founders of lyrical-philosophical-psychological prose in Azerbaijani literature. The topics
he dealt with, the events and people he wrote about reflected the realities of life, and as well as was
selected with its charm, fascinated with its poetry, and made you love with its purity and innocence,
endurance and fortitude. The writer did not reveal old topics, he looked for new ones, and he was quite
successful in this regard. Anvar Mammadkhanli’s creativity covered all fields of life. A.Mammadkhanli
was a great translator. The writer achieved to translate the European and Russian classics in the level
of the author. The writer worked for the development of our literature, culture and language.
