Genre characteristics of literature sample “Pages from my life”

Abstract

At the beginning of the study, autobiography and what is close to it, documentary biography, autobiographical works, memoirs and diaries are compared. It is concluded that although autobiography and memoirs are very close to each other, in the former, the author himself takes part in the events. The concepts of autobiography and autobiographical work are often confused. It is clear from the research that autobiographical works were literature samples created by the unity of the writer's imagination and real events. The realities reflected in autobiographical works are called autobiographysms.

The issue of the genre specificity of the literature sample “Pages from my life” by Isa Mughanna is kept in focus in the course of the research. The research shows that the literature sample “Pages from my life” begins with the birth of Isa Mughanna. The author participates directly in the events that take place in the literature sample. What is written in the autobiography is narrated by the author. Isa Mughanna, in the course of the autobiography, reflected the difficulties he came across in his creative activity and certain pleasant moments he experienced.

One of the points that allows us to say that the literature sample is an autobiography is that the author has given information about his artistic creation. Although memoirs (fragmentary) are included in the course of autobiography, the literature sample is written in the genre of autobiography as a whole.
