Abstract

Conceptualization and reconceptualization have a significant place and position in the interaction of language and thought. Conceptualization is a meaningful unit of human experience, very similar to categorization. Reconceptualization has a great role in the translation process. Concepts reconceptualized in translation are categorized in speech.

One of the principles of cognitive science, as is known, is cognitive structure. The cognitive structure consists of consciousness, cognition and knowledge. Cognitive structure determines the comprehensibility and systematicity of cognitive activity, and cognitive structure is related to the adaptive and regulatory processing of various continuous streams of information.

Re-conceptualization is the creation and re-formation of concepts in the mind, the understanding of information and knowledge that realizes the process of creation of concepts. In the article, the classification and cognitive bases of the reconceptualization that appeared in the translation process were studied.
