Abstract

Historically, many scientific research works, dissertations, books and articles have been published at the Institute of Manuscripts. These mainly concern issues of philology, historiography, source studies and biobibliography. Currently, manuscript scientists effectively use the institute's library and funds, as well as available sources in foreign countries, for scientific research. The information area of national manuscript studies is expanding, their scientific and cultural effectiveness is increasing, and the habit of writing scientific articles more in English and according to international standards is strengthening. Such provision is one of the main priorities of the institute's information policy.

At present, the reputation of journals is measured by moral and organizational qualities such as their indexation in leading international scientific bases, their influence coefficients, obtaining numerous references, having a professional and transparent editorial staff, acquiring stable scientific ethics.The journals of the Institute of Manuscripts called “Manuscripts do not burn” and “Scientific works” are now published in the Azerbaijani and English languages ​​in prestigious international indexing databases such as Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar, Index Copernicus. In recent times, the relations of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli of ANAS with the libraries of Turkey and foreign countries have expanded, and the number of our written monuments, copies of which have been obtained, has increased. The main reason for all this is related to the strengthening of scientific and organizational activity in the conditions of Azerbaijan's state independence and independent state building. In the article, the activity of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fuzuli of ANAS was expressed in an informative comment from this point of view.
