Abstract

Gender linguistics is one of the important parts of gender discourse. So that people understand the world and creat by means of the language they speak. In this context “manhood” and “femininity” is formed and developed in a different way based on the language and culture. The study of the languages in terms of gender linguistics is important in understanding characteristics of cultures and intercultural relations.We have analyzed male and female discourse on a theoretical level within the framework of Cross-Cultural pragmatics and have examined the reasons for gender differentiation in the language. For study the reasons for gender differentiation in the language we have analyzed male and female discourse within the framework of intercultural pragmatics at the theoretical level of cognitive paradigm and pragmatic semiotics. We have study the pragmatic value of discourse in terms of cultural code, that is, the semiotic expression of national-cultural norms. Cognitive-discourse analysis is carried out on the basis of gender representations. The author in order to display the conditionality of the activity of gender representations uses the type of discourse reflected at the level of topics, as well as communication methods and tactics and national concepts.
