A THEORETICAL VIEW AT HISTORY OF FAMILY-HOUSEHOLD STYLE IN AZERBAIJANI LITERARY LANGUAGE

Abstract

Although the history of stylistics goes back to ancient times, its formation as a science belongs to the 20th century. There are research works of some scholars such as V.V.Vinogradov, R.A.Budagov, I.R.Galperin, G.O.Vinokur in related to stylistics being science of independent linguistics, L.V.Sherba and others in general linguistics. As in general linguistics, in Azerbaijani linguistics wide researches about stylistics are conducted and a part of these research works are classificatory. Azerbaijani linguists have based on different criterions and given separate classification of styles.

There is a special place of the family-household style in the system of functional styles of Azerbaijani literary language. The family-household style reflects itself in four stages or levels and they can be classified as folklore texts, literary texts of middle centuries, and forms of reflection in literary language of new and modern era.

Researches and language facts show that it can be come across the family-household style having a special place among functional styles and the history of Azerbaijani literary language in the works written in different periods of literary language.
