Abstract

The first father of humanity is Adam and mother is Eve in reference to religious books. Humans since their inception have searched for the causes of certain events and the identity of the power that created them. Sometimes, rain, hail, snow, the movement of the earth, the sunrise and sunset searched for answers to the questions raised in the brain, but could not find them. Each people gave answers to them with regard to their understanding of course. It is clear from these considerations that the original belief of universe began from mythological period.

Each nation has created its own concept of God and belief since mythical ages. Turkish people always appropriated a celestial faith although some nations believe in paganism. They believed that events they did not understand were created by a divine power with this belief and named this power God.

Turks showed special consideration for sky and mountains closest to it by these thoughts. That concept was reflected in the work “Kitabi-Siratun-Nabi” by Izzaddin Hasanoglu. In the article these conceptios were explained in comparison with some Turkic peoples.
