Azerbaijan in the space of the dialogue of cultures

Abstract

In the article the dialogue of cultures in for the first time considered not only on the axis “West-East” but also on the axis “North-South”. It is stressed in the article that Azerbaijan can become the main point in the process of global dialogue of cultures in the near future. As a result of the study it becomes evident that Azerbaijan culture was more closely interacting in process of its development either with kindred Turkic cultures or with cultures of the Eastern Europe which were under the influence of the Turkic factor.
